Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Accelerate Jackson County (formerly The Enterprise Group of Jackson) held their annual recap breakfast at Bert Walker Hall located in the campus of Jackson College.

Local business and community leaders gathered to hear from AJC officials, including CEO Keith Gillenwater (pictured below) who highlighted the progress made in the county in 2025.

Chrissy Siders, President / CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union and the AJC 2026 Board Chair (pictured below), also discussed county leadership choosing to collaborate and work together over the past year.

Barry Malek with County National Bank said he felt very encouraged about Jackson County after the event was over.
Attendees were also presented with a copy of AJC’s 2025 Annual Report, and the breakfast featured a presentation from keynote speaker Dr. Gabriel M. Ehrlich, the Director of the University of Michigan’s Research Seminar in Quantitative Economics (RSQE).
Dr. Ehrlich and Dr. Michael McWilliams (pictured below left to right) gave a presentation on the the university’s RSQE’s economic projections for America, the state of Michigan, and a long-term outlook for Jackson County.
